Today, I left Hinoemata Onsen and pedaled toward Aizutajima as a start of back home. I went through Route 352 and 121. It was heavy for me to climb the Nakayama Pass, but since weather forecast said that it would rain in the afternoon I pedaled with all my power and arrived at the goal by noon. In the GPS elevation log the Nakayama Pass was the sharp pointed part. By using 28T type rear gear, I could be able to manage this level of pass.

Aizutajima district was the center of Minami-Aizu Town, thus it had comparably large town area. Particularly, the Aizutajima Station of Aizu Railway Co. looked magnificent as shown in the picture above. This station had been selected as best 100 stations in Tohoku Region. Since there are many trains scheduled to connect direct between Asakusa Tokyo, you can pack your bike and ride the train from Tokyo to Aizu area. There are also many soba restaurants around.

I found the Station of the town shown in the picture in which they sold many products made in Minamiaizu.

Today I stayed at Izumiya Inn as shown in the picture above which was located along the Route 121. The building was old and it had been designated as Registered Cultural Property. The inn charge was as low as personal inn. I also could keep my bike inside the spacious entrance hall safely.
