Mt. Gojunin at Katsurao Village, May 27, 2018. （葛尾村 の 五十人山 へ ２０１８年５月２７日）

Early this morning, I left the inn at Tokiwa which was the closest point to Katsurao Village. I headed to Seseragiso hot spring facility of the village, where the trail to Mt. Gojunin started. On the way, I could see Mt. Tatsugo as shown above, which was located within the village, and which was nicknamed as Katsurao-Fuji from its beautiful cone-shaped landscape. This morning the mountain was reflected on paddy fields just restarted to grow rice after suffering from evacuation.
今朝は、前泊した常葉を出て、葛尾村に向かいました。せせらぎ荘の裏から、五十人山への登山道がでています。上の写真は、行く途中に、その美しい円錐型から葛尾富士とも称される竜子山の姿です。今朝は、避難解除後、営農再開した田んぼに反射してきれいでした。
In the back of Seseragiso facility there was a trailhead to Mt. Gojunin as shown above. The actual trail started from either behind the sign board or right hand side of the board.
せせらぎ荘の裏手に、写真の登山道入り口のサインが立っています。実際の道は、この看板の裏または、右手から入るようになっています。
The trail went through the fresh greenery as shown above.
道は，写真のような新緑の中を進みます。
In about 1.5hr I arrived at a large field on top of the mountain as shown in the pictures above.
1.5hr程（標準タイムは５０分なので，大分遅いです）で、山頂の広場に着き、写真のようになっています。
There were two peaks on top area, south and north. The official summit (883m) seemed to be on the southern peak. I looked for the point and found a similar one as shown above. But afterward I checked the GPS data and I believed that the true one existed somewhere else in the neighborhood.
山頂には、南と北に２つのピークがあり、正式には南が山頂（８８３ｍ）とされています。三角点を探し、写真のものを見付けましたが、後でＧＰＳデータを見たら、近くの別の場所にあったようです。

From the southern peak I could see the beautiful northern slope as shown above.
南峰から、北峰の斜面を見ると、写真のように美しく広がっています。
On top of the northern peak there was a large stone as shown above which was said to be used by a famous General Sakanoue Tamuramaro more than 1200 years ago.
北峰の山頂には、写真の大岩があり、１２００年以上前に、坂上田村麿呂が使ったとあります。
I could see a view of Mt. Tatsugo or Katsurao-Fuji from here as shown above.
先の竜子山（または葛尾富士）も、ここから見えます。
