Fruits-Line Road in early August, Aug. 5, 2016 （８月初のフルーツラインにて ２０１６年８月５日）
Today, I visited Fruits-Line Road located at western part of Fukushima City. The road has a number of fruits farms along its both sides and peaches are in its best season. Fukushima has the second largest produce of peach in Japan. Photo above shows a variety of peach called Akatsuki on trees at one of the fruit farms called Anzai Fruit Farm.
本日は、福島市西部にある、フルーツラインを訪ねました。道の両脇に、多数の果樹園が連なっており、生産・販売しています。今は、桃の最盛期で、写真は、あんざい果樹園の、あかつきという品種です。
Photo above shows another variety of peach called Madoka at Goto Fruits Farm. At this farm, most of Akatsuki were picked off, and the next variety Madoka is waiting for its turn next week. Akatsuki is the most popular kind for its juicy and sweet taste. I tasted Akatsuki at both farms and they were so delicious. Madoka is expected to be very similar.
上の写真は、後藤果樹園の、まどかという品種です。ここでは、あかつきはほとんど収穫終わり、次のまどかが待っています。あかつきは、その甘さとジューシーさで、一番人気です。２軒で試食しましたが、本当においしいです。まどかも、これと似ています。
While peaches have some other varieties to follow even after Madoka, the next fruit in turn, Japanese pair is already waiting on trees as shown above at Goto Fruits Farm.
桃は、まどかのあと、まだ続きますが（川中島白桃など）、次の梨が、写真のように木になっています（後藤果樹園）。
