Ume blossoms at Umenosato, Koriyama, Mar. 8, 2016 （紅白の梅の花、咲きました。梅の里、郡山。２０１６年３月８日）
Spring has come. Red and white ume blossoms were nearly in its peak today at Umenosato, Nishitamachi, Koriyama City. It seems 2 to 3 weeks earlier than usual this year. Umenosato is located in the northern part of Koriyama near JR Miharu Station.
春が来ました。郡山の梅の里では、紅白の梅が、見頃になってきました。例年より、２－３週早いです。ここは、郡山の北部、ＪＲ三春駅が最寄りになります。

写真は、梅ロード沿いの紅梅です。
White ume trees were also beautiful, although they are not yet in full bloom. Ume farmers here make umeboshi or pickled ume.
白梅も見事です（まだ、満開ではありませんが）。ここの農家では、梅干しを作ります。
