【２０１４年４月２３日】 郡山市 馬入新田 の 水芭蕉 群生地 （Apr. 23, 2014: Skunk Cabbages at Banyushinden of Koriyakma City, Fukushima Pref.）
本日は、郡山市 湖南町 の馬入新田（ばにゅうしんでん）にある、水芭蕉 群生地 を訪ねました。
Today I visited Banyushinden in the suburbs of Koriyama City at which I could see a large group of skunk cabbages growing naturally.

行く途中で、猪苗代湖 南岸の 青松浜（せいしょうはま） に寄ってみました。今日は、写真のように 磐梯山 がよく見えました。場所は、地図の☆１です。（ 郡山市 湖南町 青松浜 猪苗代湖 磐梯山 2014/4/23）
On the way I stopped at Seishouhama Beach which was the southern shore of Lake Inawashiro. I could see Mt. Bandai clearly across the lake. The location was red asterisk 1 in the map.
馬入新田 の 水芭蕉 群生地 は、市の 天然記念物 になっています。写真は、その説明と、案内板です。ここの標高は、５６０ｍです。
This natural field of skunk cabbages at Banyushinden had been declared Natural Monument of Koriyama City. Above photos show the explanation panel and the guide map. The altitude here was 560m.
写真は、本日の馬入新田 の 水芭蕉群 の光景です。ちょうど見頃で、その密度や、広さは、壮観でした。場所は、地図の☆２です。（ 郡山市 湖南町 馬入新田 水芭蕉 2014/4/23）

その近くから、布引高原の風力発電の風車の一部が、山間から見え、春の風に良く回っています。風車を見た場所は、地図の☆３です。（郡山市 布引高原 風車 2014/4/23）

On the southern hilltop close to this spot I could see a part of wind turbines rotating in the spring wind. The place I saw the wind turbines was red asterisk 3 in the map.
