Rice field art at Miharu & Kagamiishi, August 9, 2022. 水田艺术在三春和镜石。八月九号二〇二二年。三春と鏡石の田んぼアート2022年 8月9日。

Today I visited tanbo art or rice field art sites at Miharu and Kagamiishi. Photo above shows the one at Farm Park Iwae in Miharu Town. It depicts young Date Masamune and his wife Megohime from Miharu. Farm Park Iwae has more than ten years of tanbo art history.
本日は、三春と鏡石の田んぼアートを見ました。写真は、三春のファームパークいわえのものです。若き伊達政宗と、三春から嫁いだ愛姫を描いています。ファームパークいわえの田んぼアートは、10年以上の歴史があります。

Photo above shows the other one at Kagamiishi which celebrates 10th anniversary this year. It depicts the old folk tale “Tsuru-no-ongaeshi” or return gift from the crane.
写真は、今年10周年の鏡石のものです。昔からの民話「鶴の恩返し」を描いたものです。
Kagamiishi tanbo art can be seen from the top observatory floor of the town library building (see photo above) right next to JR Kagamiishi Station.
鏡石田んぼアートは、JR鏡石駅隣りの町の図書館4階展望室（写真）から見ることができます。
Meanwhile, Iwae tanbo art in Miharu is about 2km uphill walk from Mogi Station of JR Ban-etsu East Line. Near the site you can see the signs as shown above.
一方、三春のファームパークいわえは、JR磐越東線の舞木駅から登って2kmほどにあります。途中、写真の案内が立っています。
