（Aizuwakamatsu Wind Farm on Seaburi Mountain, May 22, 2016. 会津若松ウインドファーム、背炙り山、2016/5/22）
This is a close-up view of some of the wind turbines at Aizuwakamatsu Wind Farm. The wind farm is located on Seaburi Mountain in Aizuwakamatsu City.
上の写真は、会津若松ウインドファームの風車です。会津若松市の背炙り山の上にあります。


There is a road which climbs up to the power station at an altitude of about 820m above sea level. The photo above shows the first wind turbine which welcomes us.
会津若松ウインドファーム（標高８２０ｍ）までは、登り道があります。写真は、最初に出迎えてくれる風車です。


There is a description on the board shown above about the wind farm. It generates 16,000kw of electricity which is equivalent of 9,850 households' consumption. It started operation last year. The wind turbines were made by Hitachi.
写真の説明板に、ウインドファームの説明があります。発電容量１６，０００ｋｗで、９，８５０世帯分の電力を供給できます。昨年完成し、営業を開始しました。風車は、日立製です。


The whole eight wind turbines stand in line along the ridge of the mountain as shown above. The mountain is full of fresh green leaves.
全８基の風車は、写真のように、新緑の山の尾根に並んでいます。


From the top of Mt. Seaburi (853m), I could look down on Lake Inawashiro as shown above. It was large and beautiful surrounded by hills of fresh green leaves.
背炙り山（８５３ｍ）の頂上からは、猪苗代湖を、間近に見おろすことができます。写真のように、新緑に囲まれ、とても大きく、美しく見えました。


On the way to the wind farm, I found another renewable energy power plant as shown above. The roadside solar panels were installed straight along the road at Tadano District of Koriyama City.
行く途中に、もう一つの再生可能エネルギーがありました。写真のように、道路に沿って、ソーラーパネルが一直線に設置されています。場所は、郡山市多田野です。

All the cherry blossoms in Aizuwakamatsu City are in full bloom now. Those at Tsurugajo Castle are the same. Today, the castle can be seen as shown above from Tsukimiyagura observation spot surrounded by cherry blossoms.
会津若松市内の桜は、満開です。鶴ヶ城も同じで、月見櫓からは、写真のように、桜に囲まれていました。



Ishibe cherry tree is an old cherry tree located near Mt. Iimoriyama in the city. It is 600 years old and the name "Ishibe" comes from a highly ranked samurai family in Edo Period who owned the tree. It was famous since then that many people enjoyed the blossom viewing including Aizu lord family.
石部桜は、市内の飯盛山の近く（歩いて１０分）にある古い桜の木です。樹齢６００年で、江戸時代の高貴な武士の名前から来ています。当時から、この木は、藩主などの花見で有名でした。


On the way back, I had a lunch at Mitsutaya Dengaku Restaurant. It is located near the traditional Nanukamachi Street. Dengaku Course menu which I had for lunch was a healthy meal with excellent miso or soybean paste which I can strongly recommend.
帰りに、昔からの七日町通りにある、満田屋で昼をとりました。ここの田楽コース（￥１３００）は、みそがおいしくヘルシーで大変お勧めです。

This time I took "Haikarasan" tourist circulation bus from Aizuwakamatsu station and it took me everywhere with a one-day ticket of \500.

今回は、旅行者向けの市内循環バスハイカラサンで、全て行きました。５００円の一日乗車券でどこへでも行けて、便利です。

Today, I visited Tsurugajo Castle to watch the projection mapped show of this year. The event started on 6:15 p.m. today and lasts through this weekend. The location is courtyard of the castle on the map below.
本日は、会津若松 の 鶴ヶ城 の プロジェクションマッピング を見学しました。本日から、週末まで４日間の日程で、開催されます。場所は、本丸の広場からです。

First, some artworks of elementary school children in Fukushima were displayed. Two of them are shown above.
最初は、福島県内の小学生の作品が上映されました。　上の写真は、その内の２つです。

Then the new work for 2015 was projected on the castle. Four snapshots are shown above. The theme of this year is Akabeko which is a legendary red cow who worked very hard at the construction of an old temple in Aizu Region.
そのあと、今年の新作が上映されました。上のスナップショットがそれです。今年のテーマは、会津地方に伝わる赤べコです。昔、柳津町の円蔵寺の建設のときに、大変よく働いた伝説の赤い牛のことです。
